Geoff Church

Geoff was trained as an actor and worked in theatre and television for twenty years. He now works as a Director, trainer and workshop leader. His work as an actor included seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Court Theatre, and National Theatre of Great Britain.

He also appeared extensively on UK Television in series such as ‘The Brief, ‘Foyles War’, and ‘Prime Suspect’. The television film, ‘No Child of Mine’, in which he played a leading role, won a B.A.F.T.A award for Best Single Drama.

As a director, Geoff has worked as assistant to Sir Peter Hall on Amadeus. He has taught and directed extensively on the American University circuit, and has directed projects for The Royal National Theatre’s Education Department.

He is a company director of production company Hydrocracker, and he has recently directed Shakespeare’s Macbeth in Kazakhstan.

Geoff is a leading practitioner in the application of theatre expertise in corporate development. He has developed and led highly successful programs for a range of corporations and Business schools. His work is highly interactive, challenging and enjoyable. It combines the rigour and discipline born out of years of working in the theatre, with a fresh insight into the world of business communication.

Geoff is a also a director of the Royal National Theatre’s management development programme and a regular speaker at IMD business school.

 

Richard Hahlo

RICHARD HAHLO is an actor, director and teacher. He trained in theatre at Exeter University in England, and won a scholarship to continue acting studies at the University of California at San Diego, USA. As an actor he has worked with many theatre companies in Britain including the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has also appeared in London’s West End, and with many regional and touring companies, as well as on Television. He recently played Puck with the Carrousel State Theater in Berlin, Germany. He has also been appearing in Paddock Productions’ adaptation of Daisy Ashford’s ‘The Young Visiters’ - including a special performance at the House of Lords in London.

Richard is Education and Training Associate at the National Theatre in London and has facilitated drama development work for groups in Theatre and Education throughout Britain. He is also Programme Director of the National Theatre theatreworks Management Training Programme and has worked with many international Corporate Companies. He has led theatre workshop programmes in many parts of the world including South Africa – as part of a team from the National Theatre Studio including Sir Richard Eyre, Sir Ian McKellan and Antony Sher. He is a regular guest speaker at IMD, the leading International Business School in Lausanne Switzerland. His innovative and exciting work is much in demand and he is asked to teach all over the world including recently Japan, Hong Kong, USA, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany and Holland. His book (with Peter Reynolds) ‘DRAMATIC EVENTS How To Run a Successful Workshop’ is published by Faber & Faber UK, and St. Martin’s Press in the USA.
