Dramatic Resources is seeking to appoint a full-time Administration & Marketing Officer to support the smooth running of this highly successful, boutique communication skills training consultancy and to take responsibility for marketing activities and content creation.

We specialise in inspirational communication skills training for business that draws on techniques from theatre and performance.  Our clients include major international corporations and top-flight business schools, but our approach is personal and friendly, and we aim to provide a first-class service.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience working in a similar role, ideally in the creative industries, and have the appetite for working in a small business.  They will be a bright, enthusiastic and reliable self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent IT skills and the confidence to deal with colleagues and clients at all levels.


Marketing & Social Media

  • To manage the website, newsletter and mailing-list

  • To develop and manage content for social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs etc.)

  • To keep abreast of trends and opportunities in social media and digital marketing


  • To manage the administration of a handful of on-going, strategic client programmes

  • To administer any virtual coaching programmes

  • To support the account managers in achieving the highest quality service delivery to clients

Administration & Office Management

  • To ensure event records are accurate and up-to-date

  • To liaise with clients, trainers and venues where necessary

  • To manage the day-to-day activity on the Pleo expenses app

  • To manage all aspects of the quarterly open courses

  • To arrange the annual staff parties, team days and other social events

  • To make hotel bookings and other travel arrangements for the trainer team

  • To answer the phone and deal with general enquiries

  • To be the first port of call for IT issues in the office

  • To take responsibility for any office maintenance, utilities and telephone systems

  • To provide general support to the Directors and General Manager

  • To undertake special projects as required


The successful candidate will:

  • Have excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills

  • Be an enthusiastic self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude, the patience of a saint and a good sense of humour

  • Have a good level of IT skills, including the ability to assist others with troubleshooting basic IT issues

  • Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and be able to get to grips with new software

  • Have at least 1 years’ experience working in a similar role

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the challenges and delights of working in a small business

  • Have the confidence to deal confidently with a wide range of people at all levels

  • Understand the need for absolute clarity and meticulous attention to detail when working with clients across continents and time zones

  • Familiarity with Squarespace and MailChimp, an interest in theatre and an understanding of the benefit of the arts in business would be a bonus.
