Joanna Burnett
Joanna is an actor with a rich experience in theatre, television, radio and film. She trained at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art as well as completing the Workshop Leader Training Programme at The National Theatre. Her work has ranged from performing in many of the UK’s major theatres, including the National Theatre and the West End, to roles on TV such as Landscapers (Sky HBO), Stay Close (Netflix), Bodyguard, Extras and Spooks (BBC). Her recent film work includes Fisherman’s Friends 2 and Morbius.
Joanna is a facilitator, tutor and trainer in communication skills and acting. She regularly teaches a range of performance short courses at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, as well as being a visiting lecturer on the BA Acting course. She delivers training for the corporate sector through the National Theatre. Joanna also works in the field of adoption and fostering where she is a panel member, speaker and trainer. She specialises in transracial placements and providing support for both adoptees and adopters who are navigating the complexities associated with parenting across cultural and ethnic boundaries.
With Dramatic Resources, Joanna has delivered training programmes for Visa, Holcim and Cisco, and regularly facilitates at IMD and London Business Schools. She has coached hundreds of individuals through global 1:1 coaching programmes.
