Around the World in 365 Days: A Year of Travel with Dramatic Resources
It’s a new year, which means that we are once again pulling data from a year of travel to offset our carbon emissions. In 2024, we flew around the world 30 times... and we suspect that figure might be even higher in 2025! From Los Angeles to Lausanne, Doha to Denver, and Beijing to Berlin – last year was a whirlwind of workshops for our international team.
As 2026 kicks into gear, we’re looking back on a few highlights from last year. Expect executive coaching, storytelling workshops, presence and power, and much more.
JANUARY: We kicked off the year with an Open Course in London, facilitated by Geoff and Mona. This was a special start to the year; just two years prior, Mona had attended the course as a “DR newbie”. This time, she got the chance to coach a new member of our office team and a cohort of other professionals. Across town, a different kind of workshop was in motion. DR trainer Steph spent a chilly January morning with the EMBA delegates at a renowned business school.

FEBRUARY: This month, Spain-based trainer Xabi journeyed to Italy to work with a client we’ve been partnering with for over 15 years! This long-standing programme is always a joy to deliver, and Xabi never fails to impress - in Italian, no less. This time, Xabi stepped into the role of “Dr. Hydrax” for an out-of-this-world experience... Xabi reflects,
“After collaborating with this client for 10 years, I was asked to jointly develop a programme for their sales team in Milan. We created a narrative in which the planet Nebulon was undergoing rapid expansion, and Dr. Hydrax (myself) explained the future recruitment needs to the sales team. It was an intensive, fun, and very useful exercise.”
Who says you can’t teach an old client new tricks?!

MARCH: Throughout March, David worked closely with conference speakers via virtual coaching. The goal was to help speakers craft compelling stories which could inspire and move their audiences (to laughter, or even to tears). The programme culminated in a huge event in Athens. David landed in Greece, ready to act as an on-the-ground coach, director and cheerleader. The view of the Parthenon from his hotel room was simply the cherry on top.
APRIL: We delivered no fewer than EIGHT workshops in France this month! Oui oui, April saw DR travelling to La Belle France for a range of clients; while Chris and Shelley coached at various business schools, Lara led a "bootcamp" for a major French bank. The team travelled the length of Île-de-France, Paris, Lens and Fontainebleau (and enjoyed everything from bistrot dinners to crêpes suzette).

MAY: May saw a DR first – our first ever delivery entirely in Mandarin. Our incredible trainers, Jacq and Danny, brought DR’s trademark challenging, embodied, FUN training to a cohort in Shenzhen, China. This marked Danny’s first delivery for DR as a new addition to our Singapore-based trainer team. Danny said,
“It was exhilarating to partner up with my bilingual buddy Jacq Chow in May, as it was the first of many things - including Jacq's first adaptation of DR's unique content into Chinese language, and my first contact with DR. It opened hearts in China and also opened our eyes to new possibilities. I’m excited about putting my skills and talents to good use in the years to come with DR.”
Welcome to the team, Danny Yeo!

JUNE: This month, DR HQ had its first ever offsite - two days in beautiful Norfolk, UK. We learnt about our personal drivers from Paul Johnson and looked into our crystal ball at 'the future of DR'. Geoff amazed us with his table hockey and pool skills (seriously!) and we wrapped it all up with a classic British country walk... in the rain. We also developed new work with our friends, You Collective, this month. Dom devised a forum theatre piece populated with a cast of lively characters, designed to help You Collective’s fashion brand client explore Values in Action. A seven-person trainer team facilitated a really memorable experience for all involved.
JULY: July was another exciting month for the wider DR team, as we officially welcomed Gerish to our ranks. Gerish Khemani is our first trainer based in India, and brings many skills from his creative and coaching background to DR. In his first month, Gerish worked with interns at a major corporation across the APAC region via virtual coaching and has already been an invaluable asset to the team. We’re so thrilled to have you on board, Gerish!

AUGUST: Buckle up, folks... August saw a large-scale coaching operation across the United States. Across the pond, we coached 250 senior partners in collaboration with a major US business school. Our co-founder, Richard, looks back on this busy summer with pride.
“We had a great opportunity to mix our growing USA team with some of our UK trainers as we delivered over 80 sessions during two summer weeks in Boston. Seeing the wider team connect, collaborate, and share cross-cultural perspectives alongside the participants was thrilling.”

SEPTEMBER: September saw the conclusion of another large-scale training programme – and this time, we went global. While the US team bounced across the States working with entry-level professionals, our UK, Europe and Asia-based teams also kicked into gear. During this coaching programme, you could find DR trainers in San Francisco, Austin, London, Warsaw and Singapore (and across many time zones online). A global team of 22 trainers came together to bring DR magic to every corner of the world.

OCTOBER: This month, Didi delivered a series of powerful women's leadership workshops in Serbia with HR Fabrika, our partner in Eastern Europe. We delivered 16 events with HR Fabrika this year... with more to come in 2026.
NOVEMBER: November saw another ‘first’ for Dramatic Resources. A crack team of Melle, Hannah and Marisa delivered a women's leadership programme in Mexico. This was an exciting development for DR, as it marks our first delivery in Mexico. Marisa reflects,
“Delivering in Mexico was a beautiful experience – from the delicious food and an enchanting visit to Frida Kahlo's Casa Azul, to the group of vibrant, generous, and collaborative women we met in the room. Hopefully this will be the first of many workshops for this forward-thinking organization.”

DECEMBER: After a year of dramatic events and international travel, we ended with a bang. That’s right – December was the busiest month of the year! It was the month of offsites, as colleagues across the world came together to wrap up the year with a sprinkle of DR’s tailored communications training. We rounded off a fantastic year with a ‘storytelling spectacular’ some 4000 miles away in Oman.
2025, you’ve been a rollercoaster. We are so proud of our growing team and of every trainer (old and new!) who continues to bring DR’s unique approach to participants around the world. We’re also thrilled to see our client relationships expanding with every year – from new business school clients to creative disruptors. It’s been a year of expansion and innovation, and we can’t wait for 2026. Just watch this space…
