Welcome to your ‘RedTalks’ Programme with Dramatic Resources!
We are looking forward to working with you over the coming months, and hope you have enjoyed your sessions so far.
During the programme this page will continue to be updated with learning resources, videos, reminder notes and suggestions for further reading - along with more information about next steps and any pre-session work.

PREPARING FOR YOUR WORKSHOP
We hope you enjoyed working with Steph in the Introduction Session. Below you will find a video and some reminder notes about the ‘Pitch Pyramid’ structure Steph introduced, and which you have been asked to use when planning your Red Talk. We would like you to come to your workshop with your Red Talk in this format, which will act as a starting point. You and your group will then work with your DR trainer to develop your Red Talk further, trying out different structures and techniques to make it come alive and also make it unique to you.
“People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Some suggested Ted Talks to watch before your workshop:
FILMING YOUR RED TALK
The final step is to film your Red Talk so your passion and story can be shared with the rest of CCHBC!
You’ll find some tips and advice on self-filming your Red Talk, from DR trainer and Film and Television Director David Vaughan Thomas, in the video below.

THE POWER OF STORY
Below you will find further reading and resources on Story and Storytelling, which we hope you will find useful as you continue your journey with us.
“A story should have a beginning, a middle and an end, but not necessarily in that order.”
